Now keep the showerhead in hot water for half an hour and with the help of brush clean it completely. Use a dry towel to wipe the showerhead.
Place back the shower head as it was before. Make sure you do not let the screw loose or tighten it too much.
Check the showerhead by turning on the water flow. Even after this if shower leaks then you have to repair the Faucet.
To remove the handle you have to remove all the water from the shower. ( as mentioned above) Now with the help of a spanner or a screwdriver trying to remove all the screws. This will detach the handle from the shower.
Some showers have a handle cap which can be easily removed with bare hands. Once you remove the handle cap you can see the handle screws.
Buy the cartridge which exactly fits in your shower. To remove your old cartridge you have to use a screwdriver or a puller to remove the upper-clip.
You can see the cartridge, it will be attached to the wall with a few screws. Unscrew it and you can easily remove the cartridge.
Replace the old cartridge with the new one. Cartridge generally looks like a horseshoe step. Now fit the shower again by following the same steps.
